LIKE A REFINER by Dale Brown

Like a refiner is my Jesus
Like a refiner is my God
Like a refiner is my Jesus
And I’ll walk through the fires of hell to hold His hand

All the accusations of my loved ones
Got me hurting so deep inside
Gonna have to stand firm on my convictions
And I’ll walk through the fires of hell to hold His hand

I might have to leave you for a short time
Haven’t forgotten that you’re my friend
Gonna follow the Master where He’s going
And I’ll walk through the fires of hell to hold His hand

Sing hallelujah to my Jesus
Sing hallelujah to my God
Sing hallelujah to my Jesus
And I’ll walk through the fires of hell to hold His hand
I’ll walk through the fires of hell to hold His hand

NO LOVE SONG by Dale Brown

Everyone knows we’re not famous for love songs
We’d like to sing real pretty and brighten up your day, that’s OK
But there’ll be another day
Cause now is no time, its no time, to look the other way

Don’t be fooled in thinking, when you’re so far away
That nothing home is changing, like everything remains just the same
When you know there are bills to pay
You’re gonna be standing there bewildered, perplexed, surprised and dismayed

We all knew this day was coming, yet it was so far away
Some thought we’d be forever, like we were sent here to stay
And we won’t have a judgment day
So here we are a standing bewildered, surprised and dismayed

Everyone knows we’re not famous for love songs
We’d like to sing real pretty and brighten up your day, that’s OK
There’ll be another day
Cause now is no time, its no time, to look the other way

Lift those hearts that are weary
Lift your voice to the King
Lift your voice to the Savior
Make those angelic bells ring

THE BRANCH by Dale Brown

Arise and shine for your light has come in its glory
Lift up your eyes, around and about and you'll see
They'll gather together, your sons and your daughters around you
Nations and kings to the brightness of your rising

Then you will see, be radiant, and your heart overflowing
Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you and the wealth of the nations
Your gates will be open, continually, night and day
So that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations

Sing and rejoice in the name of the King that is worthy
He's exalted, magnificent, abundant beyond all our asking
High and lofty, the Branch, the Holy One of Israel
So that men may come to him boldly in their asking

CHORUS
Sing and rejoice in the name of Messiah
Sing and rejoice in the name of Life
Sing and rejoice in the name of Jesus
For He alone is the gift of Life

EURAQUILO by Dale Brown

On my way to go see Caesar, they said I was out of my mind
Sailing with a boat load of prisoners, Julius and all of his crew
Things went well, not bad sailing, glorious for more than a few
Then, the captain, a stubborn bloke, didn’t know what I knew

We were about to get an attitude adjustment
Lose everything but the crew
That Euraquilo, strong northeaster
Lord, she really blew

We had just weighed anchor, were sailing to weather, then it began to build
It wasn’t long we were driven along, not a thing that we could do
Dragging behind a big sea anchor, a drogue for those that knew
In those days there was no other option, not even a screw

You see the Boss, He’d given me orders, yet there was more than I knew
There was one Divine appointment along the way, that we had yet to do
We had to run aground at a place call Malta, a bit of a mystery to me
Things were coming apart and we were dragging a hook, Luke wrote this in the Book

It finally ended on the rocks, we went looking for some trees
A viper bit me on the hand, they thought I’d roll over and die
Power came down from heaven above, saved me from the sting
Who would have known this was part of the plan
This is what I call a God thing

RAVING WOLF by Dale Brown

You’re always looking for a sign, in the sky
And like your fathers before you, you deny the truth
You’ve got your scrolls, religious books and plastic looks
Wearing clothes like a perfect sheep, inside a raving wolf

Don’t you know if you’d die today
The Lord would burn your soul
Can’t you hear me begging you brother
Please won’t you turn around
Turn around, turn around

You’ve given heed to doctrines of a demon, and missed the truth
Forbid to marry, abstain from meat, yeah that’s really neat
Cross your leg and meditate, your neighbor you hate

Don’t you know that you were predicted
A long, long time ago
And you know the Lord still loves you
And doesn’t want to see you go
Can’t you hear me begging you brother
Please won’t you turn around
Turn around, turn around

GET DOWN (Deu. 28:67, Phil. 2:9-11) Dale Brown

You can spend your life a searching, throw your life away
Waiting for the summer, waiting for the day
Wrap yourself around it, feel it slip away
I know what you’re looking for, you’re searching every day

Down on your knees you will fall
Down on your knees with us all

If you feel you’re on the outside and always looking in
If you were on the inside you’d be trying to get out
Confusion seems to be the word that’s running all about
Someone’s telling a story friend, now listen to him shout

CHORUS

He causes some to stumble, the Savior of the world
He’s righteous and He’s Holy, a sacrificial King
All authority has been given to His mighty name
Someone’s telling a story friend, now listen to his claims

CHORUS
